Deborah Kuchar is an artist working primarily with sculpture. For the past six years, her practice has been centered in ceramic sculpture, developed through sustained studio work and serial making.

More recently, her work has begun to move toward installation and site-responsive approaches. This shift is shaped by attention to duration, physical context, and the felt conditions—both visible and unseen—within which a work takes form.

She lives and works in both the East Bay, California and northern New Jersey.
